FPS’ activities are all carried out by our members, supporters and also volunteers who understand our mission. All our activities are supported by donations and external funding.

MEMBER (Indivisual)
As a “keepers” of the films, MEMBERS take part in the core work of our practical film preservation projects. Through study meetings and by exchanging information, you will have more opportunities to know about film preservation in depth. Not only professional archivists, researchers or students, but also people who just got interested in film preservation and wish to do something for it, are very much welcomed.
*Fees Membership Fees 1,000 yen Annual Fees 10,000 yen (from 1st April to 31st March the following year) After April, the number of months remaining multiplied by 1000 yen EX. If you apply for membership in September, membership will be 7×1,000 yen
SUPPORTER (Indivisual or Institution)
It is recomended to people who understand our mission. Even for people who don’t have time to attend any activities, your voice will tremendous encouragement for us.

HOW TO BE A MEMBER?
Please use this Application Form. We’ll mail you our document for the membership. Your application is accepted at the time you submit all the documents we requested and membership card is sent.
FINANCIAL DONATIONS
FPS always welcomes your kind consideration regarding donations. All monies will be put towards the discovery, restoration and preservation of forgotten films, and promotional work of the importance of film preservation.
